Fair trade or alternative trade, refers to the exchange of goods based on principles of economic and social justice. They key goals of fair trade are to empower low-income, disadvantaged or otherwise marginalized artisans and farmers around the globe to better their conditions and to promote understanding between them and First World consumers.

We have built a long-lasting relationship with our suppliers, Ganesh Himal, to ensure that we can offer quality items while supporting fair trade. They are members of the North American Fair Trade Federation, an organization dedicated to promoting respect and fair economic interaction.
